The We’re Not Bluffing Drive – Saturday September 20th 2025
The Ride: Join hosts Marc & Marlene Faubert and Sue & Larry Jordan for a 111-mile, rollicking roller coaster ride up and down the bluffs and coulees of Wisconsin. You’re guaranteed to experience more twists and turns and elevation changes that will leave you grinning for days afterward – and we’re not bluffing. Starting in Red Wing, MN we’ll head across the river to Hwy 35 the first small set of twisties to get warmed up. From there we’re in coulee country where we’ll twist and shout all the way to our lunch stop – The Nelson Stone Barn – which offers artisan wood-fired pizza, ice cream and libations where the drive will conclude.
Date: Saturday September 20th, 2025 rain or shine
Time: Driver’s Meeting at 8:40am. Departure at 9:00am
Starting Point: Target 151 Tyler Rd N, Red Wing, MN
Breaks: There will a rest break halfway through the drive at either the Cenex or the Handy Mart – across the street from each other – in Pepin, WI. The next break will be at lunch.
Lunch: The Nelson Stone Barn outside of Nelson, WI. They specialize in serving individual woodfired pizzas to large groups so we will be ordering off the menu. More info on their website www.thenelsonstonebarn.com

Touring Group: We will be offering a touring group with this drive. Please indicate if you’d like to it when you register.

Get Ready to Chase the Colors of Fall!
Fall is rolling in fast—and you know what that means: vibrant leaves, crisp air, and the perfect excuse to hit the road one last time before winter settles in. So, let’s make the most of it with our final official drive of the season—a scenic adventure back to Tomah, Wisconsin in search of autumn’s finest hues!
 
Mark Your Calendars:
October 11–12 (just one week before our fall membership meeting!)
We’ve pushed the date back a week from last year, hoping to catch peak colors. Fingers crossed we dodge any early October snow!
 
The Journey Begins:
We’ll start things off at the Holiday Station in Hastings

The 2025 Fall Membership Meeting/Elections is scheduled for Sunday, October 19th at 10:00 AM.  It will be held in the clubhouse at the Chanhassen AutoMotorPlex located at 1740 Audubon Rd, Chanhassen, MN.  Light snacks, coffee, orange juice and water will be provided.  Thank you to club members Steve & Pam Flaten for arranging our use of the clubhouse!
