Butch and Barb Rogers invite you to join them on Sunday July 11th for a drive and “brunch cruise” on the St. Croix river. We will be on one of the big Paddle Wheelers. This is an “Action Alert”. There are several things you must do.

   1. Call the St. Croix Boat & Packet Co to purchase your ticket(s). (651-430-1234) Mention that you are a part of the Miata Club group or you might end up on a boat with a group you are not familiar with. They ask that you make your reservation as soon as possible so they know how many boats they will need to take out that day. They will take a credit card and you pick up your ticket(s) from their will call window at the dry end of the dock before boarding. Cost is $18.95 plus tax per person. Many brunches cost that much or more without a fun boat ride included.
   2. In addition to calling St. Croix Boat & Packet Co. for a reservation, please e-mail us at bnbrogers@comcast.net or call us at H-651-777-8437, C-651-247-1281 or W-651-779-7000 to let us know you are coming. We need to know how many to plan for.
   3. Meet in the Fleet Farm of Oakdale parking lot at 8:30 to 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM sharp departure. After a scenic drive around lakes, through some wooded areas with twists & turns and then some farm fields, we will arrive in Stillwater at about 10:00 AM. There is a parking lot right in front of the boat docks and other street parking around town if that fills up.

The Fleet Farm address is 5635 Hadley Avenue N., Oakdale, MN 55128. The best access is from Hwy 36 at I-694. They open at 8:00 AM, so bathrooms will be available before we depart.

The brunch features scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage, creamy hash browns along with the Chef’s daily hot entrée served with fresh fruits, salads, orange juice and an assortment of pastries. There is a cash bar on the boat.

The boat will leave the dock at 10:30 AM and return at 1:00 PM. A lot of the shops in downtown Stillwater are open on Sunday afternoons in the summer if you want to do a little shopping.

We hope you will join us. It will be fun. Think positive and bring some sun screen. “All Aboard”.

Thanks to Butch & Barb for a really fun outing.  I really enjoyed some "new" roads I hadn't driven before.  The brunch & cruise were a blast, too.  Thanks for a "different" Sunday - Brunch - Cruise event.  Nice "zoom-zoom" sign, too.
