We are looking to buy a 2 way radio for use on drives, etc. Is there a consensus on what brand/types work best for this use?

Thanks in advance,

Both the Motorola and Midland radios are good.  Nice thing about the Midlands is that they come with 2 radios, a charger, and headsets.  The head sets make it easy to hear without having to have the volume turned up to warp 10.  For more info, check out my article which will be appearing in the next Miatasotan.

I have cobras.  They also came with 2 radios, a charger and headsets.  What I don't like about them is the clip.  It is small and makes them hard to secure to the vehicle.  I usually clip mine to the seat belt at shoulder height. Angry
