This isn't a golf outing question, necessarily, but is golf related. Hope it's OK to post here.

I'm planning a road trip and would like to take my clubs along. My current bag takes up half of the trunk. Need to remove the woods and umbrella to even get it in.

I've looked at a two slot, very flimsy, Sunday bag, but would like to avoid that if possible. Does anyone have a suggestion for a decent bag that fits?

If I find a bag, may join you for an outing!

Thanks in advance.

I use my golf car (Subaru) when I golf.  My Miata is a 95.  The driver won't fit in the trunk so it rides up front along with the three wheel pushcart.  When I think of moving all the stuff, ie: shoes, gps, gps mount, towels, balls, clubs and carts, I decide that I should save my energy for walking and just take the bigger car.

If the Miata is your only car, you could try putting the equipment in the passenger seat and putting the passenger in the trunk (just kidding).

Found a couple of small bags in he $30-40 range at Walmart. Have to take my woods out of the bag to get them in the trunk, but the $30 model fits between the trunck brackets and there is still room for a small cooler and a duffle bag in there (taking a road trip soon).

Will probably join you for the next outing.
